ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini to read the bylaws and answer «is this allowed?»
Updated
An owner asks if they can enclose the balcony. The bylaws are forty pages. The answer has to come from that file, not from memory.
ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini read the PDF you attach in the chat. Pick one. The request below works in all three.
Step 1. Pick the right file
Use the current bylaws, the text the meeting treats as in force.
Do not use an old draft. Do not use another building's template.
If a meeting changed a clause and the PDF does not include it, keep that resolution handy. You will paste it in step 3.
Do not attach the owner roll or the arrears list. For «is this allowed?» the bylaws are enough.
Step 2. Open the chat and attach the PDF
Open ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. Use the one you already have open.
Attach the PDF with that chat's file control. The button name changes by product. If you do not see a clip or a plus next to the message, look for attach or upload on that screen.
Wait until the file has finished uploading before you send the request.
Step 3. Paste this request
Copy the block. If you have the meeting resolution, paste it under the request before you send.
Replace the balcony question with the one you were asked today.
No inventes datos. Indica cualquier información que falte para poder usar la respuesta.
Step 4. Open the citation in the PDF
The answer has to contain a sentence you can find in the file.
Open the PDF on the cited page. Read that sentence.
If the article number does not exist, do not send the message.
If the model says the bylaws do not cover it, that is the answer. Do not ask it to hunt for a yes in other words.
Step 5. Reply in the building chat
Write two sentences. The first is what the bylaws say, with the sentence you read. The second says what the neighbour must do to ask for an exception: write to you, not decide it in the group.
If the bylaws do not regulate the topic, say so. The decision stays with you or with the meeting.
When the question changes every time
Uploading the PDF covers today's question. Tomorrow the question is different, and the building may be different too.
Eloria answers on the building's WhatsApp and by email, at any hour. It uses the bylaws, that building's documents and the instructions you leave.
It always replies to the resident. If the case is an exception or a meeting decision, it writes to you with the context. The resident still gets an answer.
It follows up complaints with residents and vendors. You see every conversation in a panel.
If you set office hours in the panel, non-urgent items wait until you are available. Urgent items reach you right away.
In the busiest buildings, 1 in 3 resident messages arrives at night, early in the morning or on weekends. Eloria answers at any hour: half get a reply in 12 seconds or less.
It works building by building. If you manage several, each one uses its own bylaws.
Message us on WhatsApp and try it with your building's bylaws.
